Having a girl can be lots of fun... especially once her hair grows in thick and she's asleep... I twisted her hair and it was really cute. Didn't last long once she woke up but still...
If you happen to visit us unexpectedly-don't do this... seriously-you will find the following on the floor: dvds, cds, books, shoes, and of course her favorite... diapers. Why bother picking it up when she's just going to pull them all out anyway? I usually just wait till she goes to bed. :)Oh, and we usually have loads of laundry across our living room floor too... sometimes we play hide-and-seek. Isabel found Carlitos here. :)
Stake 5k. Our stake is the best ever. Honestly it is. We had a stake 5k and I was asked to give a talk about how exercise and wellness help me fulfill my other duties and responsibilities. I was a bit intimidated at first, but then after doing a little scripture study I was no longer afraid and wrote out my talk. I'll post another time about the details of my talk.
Isabel and I ran it so smoothly... it was a piece of cake. What a great run. And the boys played on the playground and had fun together as usual.
Football. George is playing football again this summer. And here are a few pics from one of their games:
This next one is cute... Carlos is such a big boy, yet he's so little still. :)
I made this as a dress for her... she wore it as a dress for luau this year and now it's more of a tunic. Here we are at the famous BBQ place in SLC. These are our newest friends. They are so fun to hang out with.
And finally... chairs. I got these chairs for the little ones at Macey's. I could not get them to both look at the camera at the same time.
These two little ones are my favorite people in the world. Carlitos is so smart and is such a great brother. He's always looking out for his sister. And she enjoys waking him up in the morning-or at least follows him around the house and gets super excited when she hears or sees him. They like to play chase and when Carlos is sent to time out, she follows along and sits next to him to lend support. That is not what time out should be like-but how can I keep them apart when they love each other so much? I hope they continue to have a strong bond. Of course they sometimes annoy each other-but that's what siblings are for.
Love them. And more updates to come, promise.
