More Summer Fun and my Uncle's Visit

We were able to hang out with friends on most weekends this summer with the schedules changes we have had to make.  Here's a pic of Carlos and some of his friends.  These kids are great-so cute too.

Time really flies. Seems like just yesterday these little ones were tiny ones.  Speaking of tiny... these beanies below were made for a friend of mine who just had preemie baby twin girls.  I wanted to make her something special-so I made her some beanies.  Her mom loved them so much she asked me to teach her to make them.  I taught her in a few hours and since she's made her grandbabies so many!  They are adorable.

 Carlos and Isabel went to the doctor for a check up over the summer.  Carlos is bigger than average and Isabel is smaller than average.  Their doctor knows what George and I look like so he said "Well, he's taking after his dad... and she's taking after you."  I'm ok with that!  Better than the other way around. :)  Haha

My uncle came to visit this summer.  It was great!  I invited him to come months ago--not really thinking he would actually come.  But he did!  It was great.  Here are a few pics of his visit.
First, Carlos loved my uncle's hat!  I do too-it's pretty sweet.

 Here he is at the Indian temple in Spanish Fork.  Don't you think he looks like Robert DeNiro?  Haha!

 We took him to the base of Y mountain because we were short on time--he really likes it here in Utah.  Every time family comes to visit I realize how great this place really is.
